Thursday, September 27, 6-8 pm, & Saturday, September 29, 3-6 pm: Spotlight: Truchard Vineyards! Truchard Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in the Carneros
region of Napa Valley. Proprietors Tony & Jo Ann Truchard have
managed a successful vineyard & grown exceptional grapes for
nearly 40 years. Through their hard work & devotion to this unique property, they helped pioneer grape growing in the Carneros region of Napa. In 1989, the Truchards established a winery & began producing wines using only their estate-grown fruit. Made up of nearly 400 contiguous acres as the most Northeastern vineyard in the Carneros region, Truchard is situated on the foothills of what becomes the Mayacama mountain range & Mount Veeder.

Currently the vineyard grows 12 different grape varieties, making it one of the most diverse estate vineyards in Napa Valley.  Because of the unique climate & soil that exists on the estate, the Truchard family is able to create wines that are truly "with a sense of place."
